CareerMap™ mines big insights about careers from Big Data.
Participants in a CareerMap study provide us with four types of data:
Educational history
Work history
Motivational profile
Work preferences
This is quite simple for every participant to provide and enables us to deliver deep insights into career success for two reasons:
FIRST: we ask people simple questions that they likely haven’t been asked before.
SECOND: we combine our analysis of what people have done with why they did it, to attain a comprehensive understanding of career decisions.
The power of our analysis comes from combining the personal history data provided by our survey participants with publicly-available data sources, such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Much of the historical data that we receive comes from the source provided by the participant, such as a current resume, or an online profile (e.g. LinkedIn). The balance of the data comes from participation in an online interview that takes 10-15 minutes to complete.
Privacy Policy
We understand that a high level of trust is required for people to willingly share personal information with us.
CareerMap understands the importance of data security and identity protection, and promises to keep all data provided by individuals and organizations under a completely secure environment.
CareerMap studies always use statistically significant sample sizes, so data is always aggregated and can never be identified with an individual. We do not and will not ever release any contents of our database to third-party companies. Our privacy practices are compliant with GDPR standards and their equivalent in all other countries.
